Mark Goldsworthy

Chief Financial Officer

Mark Goldsworthy was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2020 and is responsible for all aspects of the financial management of the business and supporting in its strategic and operational development, as well as overseeing IT & Business Transformation.

Mark is an inclusive, considerate, and straightforward leader, with a record of building excellent working relationships with stakeholders and motivating professional finance teams. Mark has a strong delivery record in raising capital and leading finance negotiations, having led, or advised on +50 corporate transactions. 

Mark has extensive international experience in infrastructure, construction, and land development, having held senior finance positions in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Australasia. 

Mark’s previous roles include Finance Director of Interserve Construction and Finance Director of ISG Construction. During 8 years at Laing O’Rourke he held several senior positions, including Group Financial Controller, Finance Director of UK Infrastructure & Middle East, and Interim Finance Director for Australasia. Mark also held several leadership positions within Taylor Wimpey Plc, including Risk Management Director for the group’s US and Canadian businesses. He was also a senior member of the integration team following Taylor Woodrow’s acquisition of George Wimpey in 2007 which propelled the group into the FTSE100.
 
Mark started his career with KPMG Audit, specialising in construction and infrastructure before transferring to KPMG Transaction Services to perform financial due-diligence on large corporate mergers, acquisitions, public listings and re-financings.

Mark is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sheffield.
