Andy achieved a BSc in Economics from the University of East London and an Msc in Transport from Cardiff University. Since then, Andy has gained over twenty-five years’ experience in senior roles within the infrastructure services sector. Andy spent seventeen years with Transport for London in various highway management roles including Head of Highways, responsible for the management, maintenance and renewal of highways and structures, Head of LoHAC Contract Management – Service Manager for the LoHAC contracts and responsible for scheme delivery and commercial management of the LoHAC contracts; and Head of Asset Operations – responsible for the operational management of highways, structures and tunnels, traffic infrastructure and bus infrastructure. Andy has also spent eight years with Colin Buchanan and Partners (Transport Consultancy).
During his career, Andy has led the development and implementation of operational maintenance plans for the strategic road network during the 2012 Olympic games. Andy established an award winning collaborative approach to the delivery of the LoHAC contracts and is a former co-chairman of the London technical Advisory committee and former member of the UK road board.
Since joining FM Conway, Andy has led the Conway AECOM joint venture delivering 24/7 operational and delivery services to clients in the North-west sector of London.
