Recycling

Recycling

FM Conway is committed to recycling and sustainability and has been for over 20 years. Continuous investment in innovation has enabled us to be one of the first in the construction and infrastructure services sector to maximise the reuse, recovery and recycling of scarce resources to improve sustainability.

As pioneers and leaders in recycling, we have reduced the amount of waste that we send to landfill so significantly that we will soon achieve zero waste to landfill status.

Continuous investment in new technologies and facilities means that we can recycle almost all of our waste materials in-house.

  • Over 95% of highways arisings recycled into new aggregates
  • 100% of road planings recycled, used in the production of industry leading low carbon asphalt
  • In house development and production of a 95% Conway recycled binder course and 30% recycled Conway surface course, far exceeding those available from other sources
